I have spent the last week with Family and Friends. Beginning my journey in Spokane at Gonzaga's Fall Family Weekend -- and then off to Hermiston, Oregon to be with my friend and her horses. It's very strange not "needing" to get up or really have anything that I have to do -- one could get used to this.
I am heading off in the morning towards Boise, Idaho. Not sure how far I will go -- weather is not supposed to be great but I have finally made a skeleton plan for my travels but would love any input anyone would like to share as to places not to miss or even places to avoid.
From Boise I plan to head toward Jackson Hole and Cody Wyoming, then maybe to Gillette area and Sturgis. From there to Rapid City and all that has to offer. Over to Sioux Falls and then to maybe Milwaukie to Detroit -- not sure yet exactly. But I will be in Detroit on the 11th for a Red Wings game and then off to Notre Dame game on Saturday. I am thinking about the Chicago Bears game the next day (November 14th) but not positive yet.
My next for sure date/place is Kansas City, MO for a College Basketball Tournament featuring (you guessed it) Gonzaga. Duke, Marquette and Kansas State are joining the Zags.
From there I am going to leave my car and fly to Portland for the Thanksgiving holiday. I am hoping all my darling children can join me there -- and then back to my car and heading south. I am sure I will be frozen and ready for some sun -- whereever that might be.
Cheers!
Yay! I think you need to schedule a theater event -- all this sports planning is making me bored. (KIDDING)
